Divorce & Family Changes from April 2013

Sadly, marriage breakdown is a fact of modern life. Our information sheet looks at how we as Solicitors can help you, and in particular how much it might cost you to have expert legal help from us. From the 1 April 2013 Legal Aid will only be available for cases with a predominant feature of domestic violence or Public Law child care cases. If your case qualifies for Legal Aid we will tell you and in that eventuality we will provide you with alternative guidance and information which is appropriate for a client in receipt of Legal Aid.

“Ralph & Company Solicitors LLP kick off Grassroots Community Sports Programme to celebrate recent Law Society Children’s Panel Success”

Ralph & Company Solicitors LLP whose offices are in Newquay and Wadebridge are celebrating the successful reappointment of Partner Katie Clixby to the Law Society’s Children’s Panel. To mark the occasion Katie had the idea to help local sports in the catchment areas of their offices.

With that in mind she only had to look as far as the end of the corridor at the Newquay practice to find Chairman of Newquay AFC Mini’s, Jim Hilton, who heads up the Probate Department at Ralph & Company.

Katie said “ I wanted to mark my re-appointment to the Law Society’s Children’s Panel with something for the children of Newquay. I have been a Children’s Solicitor in Newquay for a decade and have recently been reappointed for a further five years during the summer. “

Upon attending the Newquay AFC Mini’s training session on Saturday morning to present new footballs for the club Katie remarked “ This is tremendous ! the children look so happy and the dedication of the coaching staff is simply terrific. “

At the end of the morning session Chairman Jim Hilton gathered up the children and a presentation was made of the footballs by Ralph & Company Solicitors LLP Partner Katie Clixby and her son Jack, who incidentally, may even join !
